Hospital Wards

We launched a community hospital to save lives.

We finished constructing two wards and a consultation room. To reduce costs, we made the hospital beds and some of the building’s bricks ourselves. We hired medical workers and purchased medicines and mattresses.

The new facility provides emergency care and inpatient care, especially for children and other vulnerable groups. It provides essential medicines such as antimalarials, epinephrine (adrenaline), fluids and test kits for free screening, including a glucometer, blood pressure machines, a CBC (complete blood count) machine and an ultrasound scanner.

We are fundraising to add a female health centre for prenatal care and cancer screening, and to improve our toilet and washing facilities. We also need funding to continue purchasing medicines and paying our health workers.
