Mosquito Nets Distribution
In February 2023, we distributed 1,500 mosquito nets in Eastern Uganda to prevent malaria.
- Malaria is a serious parasitic infection in tropical regions transmitted by mosquitos.
- We prioritised the groups for whom malaria is particularly dangerous – pregnant women, children aged 0-4, people with underlying diseases and the immunosuppressed.
- We taught people about malaria, how to use the nets and other ways to prevent the infection.
- Thank you to everyone who donated to our project and made it possible.
