Hospital Wards
We’re launching a community hospital to save lives.
We finished constructing two wards and a consultation room. To reduce costs, we made the hospital beds and some of the building’s bricks ourselves. We hired medical workers and purchased medicines and mattresses.
The new facility will provide emergency care and inpatient care, especially for children and other vulnerable groups. It will provide essential medicines such as antimalarials, epinephrine (adrenaline), fluids and test kits for free screening, including a glucometer and blood pressure machines.
Now we need medical equipment – a CBC (complete blood count) machine and an ultrasound scanner. We also need funds to continue purchasing medicines and paying our health workers.
